2 Year Program

Year #1 - The Body

Year #1 is about the technical training, foundations, choreography pick up, commercial performance, facial expression, to be part of a group, find your unique style, stamina, physic, strength, musicality, camera work, solo performance, dig deeper, quality in movement, isolations, knowledge and the history of the different dance styles.

On the first year you will also have the opportunity to go to Dublin and Los Angeles to challenge and develope yourself even more and get motivated for your future in the dance industry.

Year #2 - The Mind

The mind includes for second year Students excessive training at BjerkensjoeFrom production dance studio with 100% focus on professional work, all coached and personally planned by owner Josefin Canfield.

Understanding the industry, talks and sessions with A bookers, meetings with agents, actual commercial jobs, large video productions, getting ready to teach, the skills of choreographing, understanding creative development of productions, training with the OGs, learning about being in & on productions, solo sessions, SoMe building, personal branding and all of what a professional dancer needs to become their own business.

On the second year you will also have the opportunity to go to Dublin and be a part of Take Flight Intensive with year 1 students. Also a part of year two you will to go to London to meet with some of the top agencies and booking companies. This is an important experience for the students, since it will allow them to meet some of the main bookers of the UK and this way give them an opening to becoming a professional dancer.

Ready To Shine In Front Of The Camera?​

As a working dancer, you need to bring headshots for your auditions, when applying for productions and jobs online. Therefore as a part of our programs, you get a professional headshot, that you will receive both digital and printed. The headshot shoot will have a professional makeup artist and pictures are taken by a Danish well-known photographer.

The full body shot is the first one the students get to take and they are the first step of defining the students as being working dancers. The shoot is always taken at Refshaleøen in Copenhagen, the shoot is focused very much on the students' personal style.
